1947-87 Stepside Bed Wood Exhaust Heat Shield. Exhaust heat shield used to protect your wood floor from exhaust radiant heat damage. Attaches to bottom side of wood floor above where exhaust pipe heat where it arches over rear axle. The radiant heat causes the adjacent wood to dry out and become brittle and porous. 1 required for single exhaust and 2 required for dual exhaust systems.
